Isometric room and reflection system

Drag empty room space to rotate the view. Listener depth and monitor spacing are continuously adjustable, with equilateral geometry available as a reset rather than a lock. Drag a treatment directly along its mounting plane to reserve a new position; surrounding devices automatically reflow into the remaining open areas. Devices may abut edges and one another, but cannot overlap or cross a room boundary. Matching left/right treatments remain mirrored across the listening centerline.

Estimated reverberation time by octave band

RT uses the treatment units that physically fit after edge-abutting packing, smaller-device substitution, and manual placement nudges. The shaded band is the adjustable target.

Good, Better, Best room treatment packages

All packages prioritize first reflections with no overlap, absolute left/right symmetry, balanced LF/MF/HF decay, and clearer device labeling with larger-format Sonora options.

Use More diffusion to fill additional open rear wall, rear side-wall, and rear ceiling space with diffuser or hybrid treatment while preserving non-overlap.

Selected Acoustic products

Only products that physically fit the selected surface appear in the product menu. Oversized choices are automatically replaced with smaller fitting formats. Automatic packing allows edge-to-edge and abutted placement; treatments can now be dragged directly, with other devices reflowing around them.

Surface fill adds enough requested units to cover the available plane. The packing engine trims excess, substitutes smaller formats—including 2 × 2 products—and reflows devices around manually dragged positions.

Model notes

High-frequency reflection points use the image-source method. Room modes use the rectangular-room eigenfrequency equation and rigid-boundary mode shapes. RT values are statistical estimates, not substitutes for measured impulse response, waterfall, and spectrogram data.

The placement engine enforces no overlap on walls and ceiling, blocks treatment that exceeds the room boundaries, mirrors matching left/right wall entries across the room centerline, prioritizes first-reflection regions on the side walls, ceiling, front wall, and rear wall, uses larger Sonora panel sizes to reduce device count, keeps diffusion at or above ear level, gives corners first priority, and keeps most diffusion or hybrid treatment in the rear half of the room.

Critical-listening objective: balanced octave-band decay broadly within 0.2–0.5 seconds, controlled first reflections without overlap, absolute left/right symmetry, strong corner and modal-boundary treatment, and enough later scattered energy to avoid a dry, specular, or flutter-prone rear field.

Placed-treatment export and drawing set

Export the final placed-treatment schedule as CSV and generate drawing sheets showing wall elevations and a reflected ceiling plan based on the actual placed devices.

Each drawing sheet uses one uniform architectural scale for the room outline and every treatment device. Overall room dimensions and mounted treatment sizes are labeled directly on the sheets.
